NCCAOM Certified

A Diplomate of Acupuncture is an acupuncturist who is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM®). It is a considerable professional achievement to earn the designation Diplomate of Acupuncture (NCCAOM). NCCAOM certification indicates to employers, patients, and peers that one has met national standards for the safe and competent practice of acupuncture as defined by the acupuncture and Oriental medicine (AOM) profession. Licensed Acupuncturist State of Utah, L.Ac

L.Ac. stands for licensed acupuncturist.  In the state of Utah, licensed acupuncturists must pass national board examinations and have over 3,500 hours of class & clinical training internships.  

Masters of science in traditional oriental medicine, MSTOM

Graduate of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine 2009. Schools that offer this degree must pass the Department of Education requirements. These institutions are reviewed periodically by the Department and re-certified each time.
